Central drive sludge scraper bridge The central drive sludge scraper bridge is a machine fitted with a central shaft with arms and scraper blades that rotate in clockwise direction and thus convey the debris (sludge, etc.) towards the middle of the reinforced concrete tank, from where they are extracted by a system such as immersion pumps, telescopic valve, spillway, etc. On request, the machine can be fitted with the suspended solid extraction mechanism, which thanks to the bridge rotation, conveys the foams (oily and light parts present on the water surface) to the collecting tank fixed to the reinforced concrete wall of the tank and hence, discharged in a containment sump. The clean water flows through the spillway blade and flows into a discharge channel. Drawing of the sludge scraper bridge with central drive, model PRTC 510
