To-and-fro bridge with scraper vanes

The to-and-fro bridge with scraper vanes must be mounted in the rectangular sedimentation tanks. Its function is to convey (in delivery) the materials deposited on the tank bottom (such as sludge, sand, etc.) to a special reinforced concrete basin through the sludge scraper blades. In return, it conveys the suspended solids to the discharge channel, through the foaming blades. The treated water exists from the blades and flows into a collecting channel.
